We were doing some cleanup and noticed that our UCS nodes are having issues polling Hardware Status Information. I tried rescanning the resources for the Hardware Monitoring, but it didn't seem to make a difference. Any ideas?
I have the same issue and haven't been able to find a solution to this as well. Any one have any suggestions?
I'd check to see if HW Health is in the Poller Check Tool in the Orion install directory and run a check against those UCS devices to see if HW is truly supported.

Never seen this tool, thanks for the suggestion. I do not see hardware listed though. I select the UCS node. Should I see hardware as an option in the next column?
Yeah, I'm not seeing Hardware either.
Yeah, it looks like they didn't put Hardware in there. About the only other option would be to work with SW and provide them a MIB walk using the snmpwalk.exe tool.
I don't believe the UCS devices are currently supported.
However, you can install the IBM Director agent on these servers (or any server) and Solarwinds will use the API's in that to get most, but not all, information of the server.
I ran across this thread trying to search for this one.
Cisco UCS server blades not showing Hardware Health of Servers option in List Resources
Has anyone had any luck polling the UCS information like the thread says? I sent that information to our storage team and they haven't gotten back to me yet.
I do have ours set that way. I might have to look into the suggestion of using IBM Director Agent on the servers. It is just weird that listing resources shows Hardware Health as an option, but yet nothing shows for it after selecting it.
Using IBM Director Agent on Cisco UCS device:
My UCS is responding to hardware health, albeit only Temperature information. I set mine up per the instructions on the other thread, selecting the UCS Manager credentials under the additional monitoring options of the node in NPM.
As per your above screen shot, its is not for chassis. Its Network device health(Fabric Interconnect).
