We are using NPM 9.5 sp4 and have a Network Appliance filer FAS 3140 connected to it. The filer has 8 interface ports which are trunked together (virtually) into 2 trunks.
When I list the resources, it shows all of the 8 interfaces as red (down), but the virtual ports (the trunks) show as green.
When I check off that I want to monitor all of the interfaces as well as the trunks, the 8 interface ports show red X's by them and the virtual trunks show as green circles. However, when I look at the traffic charts for the down interfaces all of the charts show data on them.
So it is knows there is data going through the port (interface), but it reports it as down.
Any suggestions as to why?
