I want to create an Advanced Alert with nested conditions but can't get past the "Please specify a complete trigger condition" message.
I want to trigger if (Node=UP) and ((Location=A) or (Location=B) or (Location=C)).
The help at http://www.solarwinds.com/netperfmon/SolarWinds/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm?context=SolarWinds&file=OrionAGManagingAlertsAdvanced.htm doesn't address mixing 'and' and 'or' groups.

It looks like you've put your "Location" conditions in the main conditional, not the sub-conditional. You can tell because the conditions should be further indented underneath where it says "trigger the alert when any of the following apply" as they are in kweise's screenshot. Just make sure you've highlighted the line that says "trigger the alert when any of the following apply" before adding a new condition so that it'll be added to the correct grouping.

I believe you can do this by setting up an alert where the trigger condition is a simple condition statement (node status is equal to up) followed by a condition group. See the attached screenshot of what the trigger condition looks like. (Hopefully it attached correctly.)
