Monitoring a HP rack blade

Question

Hi :

I´m looking for a way to know if a HP rack blade is On,

and if is possible get yours temperature.

No you should be able to from unix or engineers toolset walk the mib and look and see if any of the cpqrack-mib oids work for HP Bladecenter.  I don't have a bladecenter to test on... I just thought that like many other HP products that they would use the Compaq mibs.

I´m receiving this message when I issue a snmpwalk command:

Unix>>  /usr/local/bin/snmpwalk -c public -v2c xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.22.2.3.1.2.1.1

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.232.22.2.3.1.2.1.1 = No Such Instance currently exists at this OID

Need I install CPQRACK-MIB in Orion ?

I'm not positive but I think HP Bladecenter can be monitored through the CPQRACK MIB:
