How can I get the location info to appear under a device?

Hi,

I've added it to the agent tab of a windows device and nothing gets displayed, also how do I add the location to a cisco device?

Do you mean for the group by, you want to populate location on a cisco device? You can set the snmp location, for example
conf t
snmp-server location myhome
exit
wr mem
exit

For the windows server you'll need to restart the snmp service. Just be warned that this will make solarwinds think the server rebooted and it will send out an alert if configured to do so.
