Event Summary Issue

Question

One of our 6509 switches restarted at 07:20 this morning but there was no event in the Event Summary list.

How is this list populated, I presume NCM looks for a particular OID update or something similar?

I've checked the switch and all SNMP etc seems to be working correctly and responding to queries.

Is this a problem with the Event Summary List or the switch?

OK, probably best at this point to open a support ticket to investigate further and see what is going on

Here's the value for system up time, which would be correct as the switch restarted at 07:20 yesterday morning.

1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0    The time (in hundredths of a second) since the network 
 management portion of the system was last re-initialized.    1 days, 1 hours, 23 minutes, 13 seconds

NPM looks at sysUptime to determine when a node was rebooted or re-started

Can you pull that value via MIB browser and see what it is set at?
