I forgot to reduce my syslog level from debug yesterday on our main internet firewall and so my syslog table has grown to almost 9G. It filled up all the available disk space on me. I have freed up over 4.5G on the drive since then but can't get syslog to respond now. I was thinking of manually deleting data from a specific device from yesterday but want to be sure I don't screw anything up. Advice on how to do this?
