The new map looks very great with the add of Application on map, the new Network Atlas.
One thing that miss me is a simple link to navigate from a child map to parent map or another map easily.

Can you describe this further and what you are looking for? Are you looking for an up one level type of navigation?
You could add parent map (or another map) as object to child map. Is it what you need?
