Router to Router Topology Links Aren't Discovered

I'm having difficulty figuring out why network discovery isn't finding links between two routers.  Links from a switch to any other device are discovered, but if I have two routers connected to each other the link never shows up as a topological link in NPM.  Am I doing something wrong?  What am I missing?  This poses a problem when I'm trying to draw a map with network segments located at remote locations connected via a fiber link between two routers.

I have the same issue and Solarwinds has stated that the current revision of connect now is only doing layer 2 topology.  The newest release that is in beta is supposed to support layer 3 topology that hopefully will cover this issue. 

I am anxiously awaiting this myself.
