MIB Database Updates

Question

Do we need to do any thing after we replaced the MIB file ?

1. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to your installation folder
and locate the MIBs.cfg file. By default, this is located in one of
the following locations:
* Cirrus: \Program Files\SolarWinds\Configuration Management
* Orion: \Program Files\SolarWinds\Common
2. Unzip the new MIB database to a temporary directory, and then
replace the outdated MIBs.cfg file with the new MIBs.cfg file.

Yes , you need to open a ticket and submit them for compilation into our mib database- however if you know the OID then see this thread here.

Hi

We have just installed a Symantec Brightmail Gateway, and long with that comes some MIB's. How do I import these into the Orion NPM so that Orion monitors everything that the MIB's provides?
