Hi,
Can I get my Cisco node detail screen to show collision errors, runts, giants, CRC's?
Thanks
If exposed via SNMP you could be able to create UnDP's to gather and display
Hi GonzoUK--
Couple of questions for you. Are you looking for errors broken out by type? If so, it doesn't look like we do that, but the community might know. Anyone?
Also, what version of Orion are you running?
Thanks,
M
It can be done with UnDP. I was working on one a few days ago but i got busy and never finished it. I will finish it up and post to here and to the content exchange. May not be until tomorrow or the next day.
Keep in mind, that on a switch, it will show for every port listed out. so it will look like:
locIfInCRC.10002 0locIfInCRC.10003 0locIfInCRC.10004 0locIfInCRC.10005 0locIfInCRC.10006 0locIfInCRC.10007 0locIfInCRC.10008 0locIfInCRC.10009 0
Thanks, I've done many mib walks in the past for, so I will create my own UnDP, I thought it was avaliable "out of the box" being a Cisco device.
Orion is great, but it does miss the important areas sometimes, for example on Cisco devices CPU, mem etc are important, but in my line of work these interface details are just as important.
Then again they give us the great tools to fix this ourselves so I shouldn't complain
