As our NPM database was getting very huge, we decided to follow posts here to truncate trapvarbinds table rows that were orphaned. I was able to reduce the size of DB from 76 GB to 42 GB
BUT since then I have not received a single new traps from our devices? Anybody has any thoughts? I have checked that both SNMP Trap Service as well as Solarwind Traop Service is running on the primary Poller. Only erro messages that I see in event log hrere and there are:
There was an error deleting old message from the database
Error Detail-Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
The statement has been terminated.
