Times are not matching up
BakerD
I currently using the eval of ver 7 and just noticed that my alerts "Time of Alert" does not match the time stamp of the alert.
For instance a server was just rebooted.
Time of Alert = 2/19/2004 01:01 PM
Current Value = 2/9/2004 15:51
Alert: Machine rebooted at 2/9/2003 15:51
I check the time on the rebooted machine and the time on the server running NPM and they match, so is there some place that I need to setup a timezone?
Thanks

Your reboot alerts are(were?) based on the node "device rediscovery" interval.
If you have the rediscovery interval set to 120 minutes, then it could take up to 2 hours
before you receive the notification that a device has rebooted.
The important thing is that you get notified that the device is down.
The reboot alert is a nice to have feature, that helps explain why a device may have been down, but is not meant as an instant notification feature when a device reboots,
although v7.0.5 certainly seems to notify you within a few minutes of the device having rebooted.
