Orion 8.1 --> 8.5.1

Has anyone else tried upgrading yet? Any issues or did it go smoothly?

Mark, that thread is talking about 8.5 -> 8.5.1.

Jon, I upgraded from 8.1 -> 8.5.1 yesterday and everything went smoothly. I have the Application Monitoring module and the Netflow Module. Both of those upgrades also went smoothly. The only problems I had were viewing Cirrus items in Orion (but I saw a post that may have solved the issue) and one of the new Netflow features doesn't work (but an update is supposed to be released next week). Everything else works as it should for me.

Good to know, i have 8.1, and i cant wait to go to 8.5.1

I noticed that version 8.5 has an installation filr and an upgrade file. Do I need to run both? Afterwards I assume I will need to install SP1. Are there any problems that you are still having on version 8.5?

Run the installer, and the upgrade file will be run automatically at the end of the install.
