Try this for a starting spot:

Go to NPM > Settings > All Settings > Manage Nodes

Sort Group by Vendor so you can see all of your APC units:

Put a check in the top box on the right, selecting all your APC products managed by NPM. Alternately you may want to just select one individual unit and test the process on that one so you're satisfied with the outcome.

With at least one Node selected, the "Assign Pollers" button becomes active. Click it.

Identify the polling groups with which your UPS products may be associated, or in which UPS Monitoring Pollers may be active..

Open each one and uncheck (or check) the pollers you wish to disable (or enable).

Submit the changes, give NPM a little time to go through a polling cycle (or select an APC product and manually force a new poll to start on it two or three times) and see if your unchecking pollers has the desired result.

An alternate solution:

Open Settings > All Settings.

Go to Node & Group Management > Manage Pollers. Click on Manage Pollers.

View the enabled pollers under the "Scan New Objects" column:

Select the specific pollers in which you're interested and click Assign.

Turn the desired poller(s) off by clicking in the "Poller Status" column, moving them from On to Off.

Remember there may be multiple pages of nodes and/or pollers to review. Be sure to select the appropriate options (ALL NODES on all pages, or just certain nodes), and make your changes there.

Test to ensure the results are as you expect.

I talk about the new out of the box poller that came with 12.3

I don't have any planes to ListResources for 100 + APC UPS...

I apologize, sja; I don't have that answer quickly for you.

But I'll step outside the box and query you whether that UPS poller might provide you helpful data. I'm interested in the snmp MIBs/OIDs that can be displayed in NPM for each node, as well as the traps/alerts that can be generated to help us better anticipate problems and predict through trending analysis.
