Search for Interface by Name

With Monitoring several sites and starting to use EnergyWise. Is there a way to added seacrh capability for Interface Name.

Reason is schedule is in place for offices M-F and Sat and Sunday they are powered off. Let's Say John Smith is going into the office on Saturday. So right now port names reflect the user attached ie...FasterEthernet0/4 - JSmith Desk Phone.

I want to be able to Search on JSmith to get to the port that he is connected to.

Hi,

Are you not able to do this with the Web Node Management?

If you go to Admin -> Web Node Management, then you can Show: Interfaces. Search for JSmith and click Search. Your list should be filtered by the search. Select your interface[s] and from the More Actions menu you can select the "Override Power Level" if you have the SNMP Write string or the "Manage EnergyWise" option if you have the NCM 5.5 integration module installed.

That was what I was looking for but. What if a Customer without Admin Access is looking to do the same thing?

Is there a way to add it to the search function on the Main Page?

Or is it possible to feature request in the next release?
