VoIP Call Volume Tracking
BrandonBrown
Does anyone know how to track call volume on a Cisco VoIP Gateway (3662 using HDV cards or 7200 using VXC cards) I use Definity (AVAYA) PBXs (not call managers) and need to know how many call I have going through each gateway at any given time....

Check this on your box, we use it on 2600's running as Gateways (dial peers etc...)
gw-accounting syslog - this sends CDR records via syslog - it does the job for us....
also,
enable the sending of poor voice quality traps on each peer thus....
foreach dialPeer
{
snmp enable peer-trap poor-qov
}
Hope that helps....

I have a similar scenario where we use Cisco 2621 Gateways to receive/send H.323 voip calls from the service provider to our customer's office.
So far we haven't found a way to monitor the call volume thru snmp v1/v2 with Orion. Any ideas?
Also, any idea when Orion will support SNMPv3 ? Thank you.
