Trap Viewer

Hello guys.

Can anybody help me with the BETA version of SNMP Trap Receiver (Trap Viewer)??? I've recently download the specific component of Orion Network Performance Monitor v7.8 but it doesn't work. All the appropriate services of SNMP are working and my routers have the right configuration (community string, SNMP server, ACL etc.) but I don’t receive any Traps in the Trap Viewer. Can anybody tell me what to check or what could be the problem???

I'm having the same problem... Even test traps aren't showing up. Anyone

The problem resolved by updating the MSDE SQL (the default database of the product) with SQL Server 2000.

Yeah, you should be able to see received traps in the viewer. The email function doesn't work though so don't get excited when you don't receive email alerts. Well...at least it doesn't work on the version I downloaded a couple of months ago. Maybe they fixed it?
