Port Mapper- Intf Duplex returning 'unknown'

When I run Port Mapper against a Nortel Passport 8600 switch I get 'unknown' under the Interface Duplex column for all ports. I have to manually perform get on rcPortAdminDuplex to get these values. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.
