Why can't I modify multiple nodes if they are in multiple groups?

Trying to align my information in Orion with a Service Now Application Portfolio. If an Application lists several servers I create a group in Orion (Manage Groups). I then add the servers to the group. When I want to manage the nodes, I cannot find that group.

Also, some Applications will have similar nodes. Am I missing something with Manage Nodes?

When you are in Manage Nodes I don't believe you can use Groups as a grouping criteria. (As odd as that sounds )

Have you considered using Custom Properties for your logical groupings instead?

They are actually a bit more powerful compared to the Groups and you can use CPs as a grouping in Manage Nodes:

Groups are not currently a filterable property available within the 'Manage Nodes' view. You could however achieve the desired result by using Custom Properties instead, as suggested by jvb.

We already use many Custom Property values but that cannot filter effectively when you have an application on 3 of 10 servers, another application on 4 of the same 10 servers, another application on 10 of the same 10 servers. It's very time consuming using Manage Nodes to configure Maintenance Mode. It's also difficult when Maintenance Mode has to be cancelled and I need to remanage the device.
