I have a few nodes set for ICMP only polling. However, I'm seeing drops on our firewall on port 161 coming from our Orion server to those nodes. Any ideas as to why I'm seeing this? Nothing else on the server would be polling with SNMP.
Do you have any modules loaded. IPAM or NCM would send out SNMP discovery packets
Are you doing discoveries as well?
Nope, no scheduled discoveries and nothing manual has been run on that subnet.
Good call on IPAM, I didn't think about that using SNMP.
