List Resources Issue? v10 NPM

I recently upgraded my NPM to version 10, SP1. So far things look ok, with one big exception: I'm not able to list resources from the web page. Any device I go in to, the web page shows an initial count of interfaces (usually 13 or 15) then stops. it never updates.

Has anyone else seen this problem? I tried looking through the forums, but was unable to find anything... so I'm guessing not?

Is this on a specific device or any device? What browser and browser version are you using? Do you get any java script errors in the bottom left hand corner of the browser?

It is browser specific. Odd. IE and Chrome seem to display it properly, but Firefox does not. (3.6.8). There were no errors on the firefox browser.

I'll be honest, I'm a little embarrassed that I didn't check other browsers... I should know better.

yup, I have the same problem... if i wait long enough it eventually shows me the interfaces but gives me an error if I try to submit...

Will try other browsers (using firefox for myself cause I had troubles with IE+Orion in the beginning)

Same NPM version, exact same issue. We use Firefox (v3.6.13) exclusively for Orion web admin, as we found IE (v7 & v8) to be very buggy - we believe IE to be responsible for nodes going missing from our DB with no trace/event log to account for it. Since upgrade NCM (config module) we can no longer use Firefox to LIST RESOURCES - it starts but never finishes - message at bottom of firefox screen indicating "waiting". This is very concerning as we really do not trust IE to perform Orion Admin functions.

Anyone have any suggestions or possible resolution to this issue ?

Odd that this started since you upgraded the NCM integration module. Not sure what exactly is going on, can you open a support ticket?

I noticed though that most of the time, if we wait long enough, the list resources eventually finishes after a few minutes and you can continue to add the resources if you do so quickly after it finishes (so you have to keep looking at the screen and not just check back every 10minutes ).

Great news. NCM directly unrelated, however suspect performance of main poller/web console was being impaired by recent growth and install of NCM. I install additional web console on separate server, issue is ** RESOLVED **. Confirmed with both IE & Firefox, also confirmed ok with browser integration turned on. Firefox is almost instaneous now for list resource to complete. This task still never completes on original web console residing on primary poller.
