Orion and Cisco View
mcrone01
We use both Orion and Cisco Works. We wanted to integrate the two tools to some extent. The best way we found to do this was to put a link on the Node Details page that calls Cisco View and feeds it the IP address of the device.
To add this link, I am assuming that you have already added the Telnet and HTTP access to Orion from the Additional Components section of the Solarwinds website.
Edit the following file: Drive_Letter:\Inetpub\SolarWinds\NetPerfMon\Resources\2-1-NodeDetails\01-AdvancedNodeDetails.Resource
Add the following text below the Telnet additions section created by adding the additional components:
tr>
<td class="Property" width="10"> </td>
<td class="PropertyHeader">Cisco View</td>
<td class="Property"> </td>
<td class="Property"><a href="")%>"">ServerName:1741/.../com.cisco.nm.cvw.servlet.CvServlet target="_blank"><%=Node.GetProperty("IP_Address")%></a> </td>
</tr>
Change ServerName to actual FQDN or IP address
Good Luck
