Unable to monitor IPSEC VPN Cisco Devices

I'm fairly new to Solarwinds but have added devices and used the Map Maker to create custom network design. I am however having a problem monitoring a number of our IPSEC VPN sites. They all use Cisco 877 routers, SNMP has been configured on the router but solarwinds only appears to monitor network latency and they appear as "Unknown" The local end is a Netscreen firewall (which is being monitored)

The sites tend to go down intermittently and i need to be able to monitor uptime, CPU load and the WAN interfaces at least. We are using NPM 9.1 with SP3. Is there something i've missed?

Other people requested the 877's be added to the MIB file. I would download the latest MIB which your machine probably doesn't have yet and it's been updated since NPM 9.1sp3 came out:

Download the zipped MIB and follow the procedure:

To update your MIBs.cfg file:

1. Navigate to your installation folder using Windows Explorer and locate the MIBs.cfg file. By default, you can find the MIBs.cfg file in one of the following locations:

* Orion NCM: \Program Files\SolarWinds\Configuration Management

* Orion: \Program Files\SolarWinds\Common

* Toolset v8: \Program Files\SolarWinds\Engineer's Edition\

* Toolset v9: \Program Files\SolarWinds\Engineer's Toolset\

* Toolset v10 (placement based on Windows OS):

-Windows Server 2003 and earlier use \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolarWinds\

-Windows Vista or 2008 Server use \ProgramData\SolarWinds\

2. Unzip the new MIB database to a temporary directory, and then replace the outdated MIBs.cfg file with the new MIBs.cfg file.
