Linking to Devices from outside of Orion?
profzoom
Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to link to a device's asp page from another website? What I would like to do is be able to link to certain devices within Orion from another website without having to go through a login page.
When ever I try to do this all I get id the initial lgin screen for the solarwinds Orion site our company has.
Thanks for the help in advance.

Create a "directlink" web account, as per the admin guide.

Look at setting up the DirectLink account. It's on p.224 of the Orion manual. It'll then allow you to link directly to the page without having to log in.

Thanks all for letting me know about the directlink account. Unfortunatly that does not work, it will let me login without a password and take to whatever homepage I setup for that account but it will still not let me link directly to a node summary page unless I set the node page up as the directlink homepage.
I thought I had it figured out with your help but that still does not work. I can paste the link in the address bar from the node soummary page into another web browser window and directly go to the node but I can not put a link into a webpage and have it go directly to that link.
Is there another way to do this?
Thanks

You can add the web account username & password to the URL you are using as the link on your webserver. Do a search in this forum for "login".

Hopefully this works for you.
