**Need help scanning historical syslogs by date and time**
In Orion NPM v9.X there were some pretty big changes to the GUI syslog view. There used to be an option to select a "custom" time frame. This would allow you to perform a search during the same time as an anomaly for example and look for important messages that you could then, use to enhance your alert monitoring. This is absolutely a*vital* addition to the product and allows for a powerful combo (events/alerts/forwarded syslogs). The problem is that now since version 9.X Development has removed the *custom* time frame option. So If I need to search messages from a Saturday, and I am doing this on Monday for example, I would need to search from a "7 days ago" option. Of course the system will not successfully load a response for a querries of thats size, (millions of syslog messages). So all my data is lost. I am not sure why they removed the custom time search field since that is an absolutely critical piece and I very much hope they put it back, similar to how it was in version 8.51.
Does anyone out there know how, using NPM syslog view to search a "custom time" ??
