Syslog Viewer opening screen preference

Does anyone know if it's possible to configure Syslog Viewer in such a way that the "Quick Start" menu is not displayed?

If it IS possible, would someone mind posting instructions on how to do that? I'd prefer that the "Search Messages" (aka Search Syslog Database) window be my opening page instead.
