Installation Problem with Remote SQL

I have tried to install Orion 7 in remote sql server and use
sa account to login. I found that it have error message saying that "target directory does not exists! Please select an existing directory" when I choose the directory path for create/connect to database in the configuration wizard. So what's the problem?

You may want to check what account the SQL server is running under, and if that account has create access to the directory you are selecting.

On the server that is running SQL, start by going to the Service under the control pannel. Find the instance of SQL you are connecting to and look at the Log In As column. This is the security account the SQL is running under. Microsoft recommends that you DO NOT run SQL as local system, so if a worm gets into your SQL, it does not have access to the full system, so it would be probable that your DBA changed the run account away from Local System.

Next use the file explorer and expand the directory tree to the directory you selected through the Orion Wizard. Then right click on the directory, and check the security permissions.

My guess is SQL is not running as Local System, and the account it is running under does not have create authority on the directory you are selecting.
