NPM shows wrong device when re-use Device IP address

I've previously used an IP address 192.168.130.18 for a Cisco Wireless AP. Since then, the AP has been removed and I've decided to recycle the IP address and use it for a Cisco 2960 switch.

However, after adding the node, it is still showing up as a Autonomous Wireless AP and shows charts for APs instead of a proper 2960.

How can I correct this bug? Is there a workaround?

if a delete and add doesnt change it to the new device type

add the switch on a vlan IP and once it is in then change it to the real address

Unfortunately, I've already tried your suggestions and they didn't help.

I was thinking along the lines of a database tweak but I'm clueless when it comes to SQL.
