Built in SSH/SSHv2 Client

Good Day,

I have been searching the threads for a couple days now, however I have not seen a definitive answer on the above. We are migrating from the Huawei DMS N2000 and our Network Security Dept has mandated that all communication is to be done via SSHv2 and SSHv1 in that order. The current DMS has a built in client accessible via the right click menu to any device that is being monitored. Is there any way that this can be done in the current deployment of Orion NPM so that when you right click on an object it takes you into the console login via an SSH present in the menu. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the prompt response. I also purchased the Engineer's Toolset (I believe the latest). When installing, is there a prompt for Toolset Integration on NPM, that is, does it have to be installed on the same server as Orion NPM making it accessible by all who are allowed to use it. If so can you point me to the correct thread.

Also, if I use Putty, when it executes, does it simply launch the terminal window where you will have to manually type in the IP address of the host or node monitored to get access or will it go straight to the prompt? If not, then could something like SecureCRT work using the steps outlined? Thanks.

(By the way I am a newbie.)

We have the same issue. We are converting all of our network devices to SSHv2 and need the ability to have an icon for Telnet and an icon for SSH on the Orion web console that can be pointed to SecureCRT (our standard Telnet/SSH client). How do I do this?
