Adding users from multiple non-trusted domains

I realize that EOC requires that you add users from domains but what if the other domains are not trusted?

The situation is that we have multple sites that are connected via VPN connections and you can ping the Orion's, etc. but since there is no AD trust we can't add users to EOC.

Correct?

How do we add users in other doamins into EOC so this will work?

No, that isn't correct. You can create LOCAL accounts on the EOC machine (whether it is in a domain or not). Then it doesn't matter if you're connecting to the EOC website from a machine that has an authentication association at all.

Do you mean by 'LOCAL accounts' that these are names under Windows Local Users?

Thanks David, yes, that clarifies it.....

Now the problem is that our security policy doesn't allow this. We 'might' be able to get by with one, maybe two local accounts but not as many as I need to add.

So to make sure I understand, if I need to add Joe.Blow from server OrionX into EOC he must have a local account on that Orion server otherwise I can't add him to EOC? And following this logic if I have more than one user from that site who needs to be added into EOC then they each must have a local account on that Orion server. Right?

Sorry for dragging this out but I need to fully understand so I can write it up....
