CPU & MEMORY

Hi,

The CPU & memory dissapears from all the nodes. This has been occur two time in one week.

Another question, what i need to have a better performance of NPM 9.5 SP4 and APM 3.5, how many poller, etc

I have Win 2003 x63 SP2---- 8GB memory

The DATA BASE is in the same server , with NPM.

First, you need to break SQL off to it's own box. Then I would recommend at least 1 additional poller, we typically recommend about 8000 elements per poller using default polling intervals. Also, how many APM monitors do you have?

We have 300.

Do you think the problem of the cpu and memory is for the perfomance

Hard to tell but very well could be, if the box is overloaded, we might miss polls, so you might see gaps in data etc.

This is the performance rigjt now , i stopped and started the NPM service. this service go to 800,000 mb in process. you can see in the attached file.

Anothe question , where i can get a documentation more tecnical . like where i can see the logs of orion, what are teh funtcion of the service. etc.
