Orion Application Monitor overhead

How much server overhead will using the Orion application monitor on 150 servers have on an already busy Orion server monitoring 1500 instances and currently running the wireless module.

Orion Server Specs
Compaq DL380 G4
4GB Ram
Dual 3.0+ GHZ processors

I do not want to overburden my Orion server by using the applcation monitor on 150 servers.

Your server looks like it should be able to handle the additional load, but it also depends on your polling intervals & the number of interfaces you are polling.
Also the DB maintenance settings can affect performance.

Adding one server is less load on Orion than monitoring a switch with a dozen interaces.
