Monitoring Outbound emails

I need to monitor outbound email on my Landesk Server.

I have the following variables:

What i need to monitor : ServiceDesk.MailOutbound

Associated Error messages.

1. The operation has timed out.
2. Failed to Send Message.
3. The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.
4. Value cannot be null. Parameter name: address
5. Failure sending mail.; Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.; An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
6. Transaction (Process ID 87) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.                                                                                                                             
7. Syntax error in parameters or arguments. The server response was: 5.1.3 Invalid address

Can anyone advise if I can easily do this with a template?

What is the source of these events - Windows event viewer events, raw text logs, application level, Performance Counters?

All of these can packaged in a template, you just need to identify the raw source and create the components.

Looking here, How to monitor the Service Desk outbound email ... | Ivanti User Community  it looks like these are app level queries you would have to somehow package up.
