1. Uninstall Orion NPM V7.0.5. (Do not uninstall SQL Server.)

Click Start4SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor4 UnInstall Orion Network Performance Monitor. When prompted, select Delete Allfor shared files.

2. Install Orion NPM V7.1.

Insert the Orion NPM version 7.x CD into your server and follow the prompts to complete the installation.

3. Run the Configuration Wizard from the Windows Start menu: Start4SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor4Configuration Wizard.

The versions are wrong but the steps are the same.

I went from 7.5 to 7.7 without uninstalling first and the upgrade was flawless.....

Make sure you have a full server backup first before starting..
