Cannot see the Customize views properly

After Upgrading from ver 7 to ver 8 i have a problem with viewing the main page. In ver 7 i used to be able to see multiple modules on one screen but after upgrading each module is showing up top to bottom. Can some one tell me how to make the view showing objects side by side.

Is this view set up as a 2 or 3 column view? If so, what resource is configured as the bottom-most resource in the first column?
Try adding another resource below the bottom-most resource in the first column. It sounds like there may be a bug in that resource causing corrupt HTML.
