User Defined Links

User Defined Links are a great addition to SolarWinds 8.0 but I am wondering if there is a way of creating these user defined links for specific nodes. I know I can create custom views based on vendor, but lets say I have 50 windows servers. I can create a custom view for all Windows Servers, add a custom link for something they all have in common, like Dell Server Administrator, or HP's Insight Manager. But what if I want to create a custom link that shows up for just one windows server? Is that even possible to do in Orion 8?

Here is how Underwood acheived this using this post:

I also added an if to only show SNMP fields if SNMP was appliable:


<% If Node.GetProperty("ObjectSubType")="SNMP" Then %>

<tr>
<td class="Property" width="10"> </td>
<td class="PropertyHeader" nowrap>System Name</td>
...
</tr>

You can create a new Custom Property for your Windows servers & only servers with an entry in this property matching the " If Node.GetProperty("ObjectSubType")="NewProperty" Then"
will display the link on the Node Details page.
