can I run multiple NPM servers in active/passive mode for resilience, and if so, how?

I understand the original Orion product could run with a failover engine (FOE) which allowed active/passive servers for resilience, but I cannot see this referenced anywhere in the recent collateral for NPM. Is it still possible to run active/passive/ if so, how do I do it?
