Adding Custom MIB takes forever

Am I the only one having a problem where adding a Custom MIB takes more than 10 minutes? Just to get past the initial screen where you choose what device to add a MIB to, it takes no less than 5 minutes to do one step. I'm sure this has to do with the amount of nodes in my database, but I don't find that as being a good excuse. We're always adding more devices, does this mean that I should expect to wait up to an hour just to add a Custom MIB? Is there any way around this? Removing devices and re-adding them is simply out of the question.
