How to create an alert on SNMP trap

From NPM trap viewer I don't find a way to create an alert (like basic or advance or some other type which can be seen in Alert screen). This is very important for us to aggregate all the alarms in single scree like 'Alerts' screen. We don't want our user to view multiple screens to monitor the network.

Please let me know if trap can be converted to an alert and can be viewed in Alert screen.

I had the same issue.

What I did was to have the trap or syslog rule run an SQL query to add 1 to the custom properties syslogcount or trapcount for the node.

Then you can have an alert set  to run if the custom properties syslogcount or trapcount is not 0.
