Question about Alert configuration

i have installed Solar Winds in trail version.
now i am configuring Solar Winds NPM to FULFILL the requirement of NOC.

I am configuring alerts right now.

i am having problem with switch interfaces alert notification.it just notified us when interface goes down. after two minutes if switch interface gone up. then immediately it should notify about the interface. that this interface is gone up now.

please guide me about it. how could make these alerts more meaning ful for us.

Look under the 'Reset Action' tab for this alert. You probably don't have an email action defined. The easiest thing is to copy the email action from the Trigger Actions tab to the Reset actions using the 'Copy to Reset Actions' button

You may want to move this discussion to the Network Performance Monitor forum.

There is already a default alert called 'Alert me when an interface goes down'. You can see the details of this alert from the 'Advanced Alert Manager' utility on the NPM server.

You should see Active alerts under the HOME > Alerts view

You should be seeing the Alerts being raised and reset for this out of the box alert in the HOME > Events view

look above picture, yes it is by default alert.
so it just informed about only node down interface.

look in the event summary if GBE-10 interface gone down at 11:32AM . then i got email about it alert.
when this alert is cleared look in next snap shot.

Aftre Two minutes it gone up look at time. then i t did not notify about this event through email.

Guide me about. wat kind of condition i can put to achieve this requirement.

Thankyou soo much for you guidance. i have obtained the required output. By following your suggestion.i was doing wrong settings in Reset actions.

now i am getting notification for up interface that had gone down before few minutes.
