Problem with Database Manager

Hello

I want to add our SQL Server to the Orion Database Manager, but to my surprise it doesnt show up in the drop-down menu of SQL Servers. Other servers appear but not the one I want.

Oddly enough when I check in NPM Web Console for the Database Details, I can see every detail of our Server. Also we have had no problems monitoring or making reports of our network, so I assume it is working fine.

Any advice would help, thanks

You can just type in the sql server hostname or IP in the box. If you are using the default instance, that is all you would do. You could also include the instance name if it is not the default one by \. Sohail Bhamani Loop1 Systems http://www.loop1systems.com

And if you try SQL Server Management Studio from Microsoft do you see the server in the list?

If no I would suggest go to Sql Server Configuration Manager -> SQL Server Network Configuration and check settings (e.g TCP/IP).
