We have 4 CPTs and only the 10 Gig interfaces are showing up. We just updated the MIB file and still no change. Any ideas on what is going on?
Thank you,
Bruce Jarrett
Hi Bruce,
can you provide more information about your problem, please? Are those interfaces monitored by NPM and have status different from up or they are not even recognized and added in? Can you see those interfaces on the node when you do list resources?
Thanks,
Pavel
Okay so right now it is taking 5 min to discover resources though the NPM web interface – it goes to 83 then waits then to 97 and finally 105 and once again waits. Then it is only seeing the following interfaces:

so the problem is that you can discover all the interfaces on the device (105) but they are not imported into NPM. I would suggest you to create a support ticked with attached wireshark from the device during list resources/adding node to NPM. It will speed up investigation.
No the problem is that the gigabit interfaces are not being discovered.
