Has anyone discovered there CISCO 15454 devices and if so how?

This should be simple and I am probably overlooking this. But here is my situation. I need to discover and monitor temprature settings on all my Cisco ONS devices which are 15454 model devices at all my locations. I have found the UNDP and have the MIBS but I do not have any devices discoverd in order to apply the UNDP to them. Anyone have a thought as to how to proceed and if you have done this any steps would be helpful.

Tomaz and Mav thank you both for the response. I was certain I was just being dense and not seeing a simple setting. Turns out it appears that the other devices were missing the SNMP configuration needed. I am not seeing the machine type but I will get poll them using the OID listed above and see what I get.

Dave, what exactly happens when you try to add the node? Does it give you an error? Are you trying to use SNMPv3? If so, the main thing you need to be able to add the node is access to the SysObjectID (1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0). If you try to do a quick SNMP get or walk of the device you will be able to make sure it returns as expected. We include an SNMP Walk tool to test with. By default it is located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\SnmpWalk.exe. If you run that does it return any data from the device? Also, you could have an ACL preventing access to it from the Orion server.

I monitor Cisco ONS 15454SDH devices successfully with Orion NPM (including temperatures and voltages). Maybe something is missing in your SNMP configuration on these devices, considering NPM it is standard SNMPv2c configuration for the monitored node. Machine type discovered by NPM is ONS 15454SDH.
