We are in looking into what is needed to move our Solarwinds environment from 2008 R2 to 2012 R2.
Our Environment: Orion Platform 2015.1.2, IPAM 4.3, NTA 4.1.1, NPM 11.5.2, SRM 6.2, SAM 6.2.1, NCM 7.4, DPA 9.2.0, WPM 2.2.0, QoE 2.0, IVIM 2.1.0, VNQM 4.2.2, UDT 3.2.2
What is the best way to do this? I am hoping to use the same name and IP addresses as the existing servers, but was curious how others on THWACK have done this. As this will be a fairly time consuming process (with 5 APEs, 2 WPM players), would it be best to migrate the APEs to 2012 R2 first, before the main poller/system to minimize downtime?
