When doing a test of SNMPv3 on some devices, in this case an APC device, it fails in the GUI but I can run the SNMPWalk from the Orion server and it passes and pulls in data.
Verified we are using the same credentials.
Ideas???
Only time I've ever had something like this happen was when the GUI was using an APE for polling, and that device wasn't on an ACL.
I had this happen all the time for Cisco IronMail devices and it didn't affect Universal Device pollers or anything else. Did seem to affect the vendor information from being accurate, although that was cosmetic for my purposes (since we a had a rigid naming convention where the hostname/ DNS entry told you what the device was).
Seem to recall it had to do with system MIB not responding...or something like that.
