Custom Network Availability chart

Hi,

I'd like to add a 'Network Wide Availabilty' resource to my main NPM page, however I only want to report availability on my Cisco switches/routers.

I can add a 'Custom Network Wide Chart' but I only have limited number of options availability when I click the drop down on the 'Select a chart' from the 'Edit Custom Network Wide Chart' page.

I'd like to see something like a 'custom property' that I can create with those nodes in that I select and have it report on only those items.

Is this possible?

The account can have all the permissions it needs but you can create a view that has a limitation and include the chart in that view. On any other view the user should be able to see all devices, but your custom view with the global charts alone would be limited.

This can be done by publishing a report but it will be a table rather than a chart. Is that acceptable?

I guess that'll gives me the information I need, but it's not updated with everything else and it doesn't look very pretty. Is there a way of getting this data into a chart? If not can this option be considered in future editions of NPM?

You could do this by creating a custom view with the appropriate view limitation and then add the network wide availability chart to it.

This won't work because the account logging onto to this view needs to see ALL devices on the network; on this view I want one chart to report on cisco devices - currently this can only be done by selecting custom chart and the options in the drop down list - which doesnt (YET?!) include any custom properties.
