multiple interfaces with common traffic and Report Writer

we have two Internet routers in the DMZ. one with a HSSI and the other with a METRO ethernet and both are doing BGP with our ISPs.

i need some good ideas how to combine these two interfaces within a report showing traffic utilization and traffic bytes transferred, .etc - as if if it were just one interface.

i've tried numerous things using Report Writer but w/o success...thanks for any help or ideas to try.

Not sure if I will be of some help...

Have you tried to create an Historical - Interface Traffic report and to add in the filter results tab two conditions to only retrieve stats from these two specific interfaces.

In the Select Fields tab, select e.g. the Total Bytes Recv+Xmit field. Do not add any Interface Caption or Name fields to keep the results unified to avoid having results grouped by interface.

That should return you statistics on a single line for both interfaces.
