Do you find the moderation annoying too?

Is it just me or does the moderation of this forum annoy you too?

Seems that having moderation tends to really slow down the flow of ideas and as we all know in this game being able to get quick answers to questions is vital!

I guess I'm just curious as to the reasoning of needing moderation around here. It's not like we're all under an NDA or something and need to be all hush hush about things or that we're going to start posting links to the hottest elite warez/porn sites.

Soooo, what does everyone think? Good idea? Admins, can we make it happen?

For any response requiring immediate remediation, customers should call support directly.
I've just taken it for granted that this is not a public forum & any questions/ideas tossed around here will not get an immediate response.

There is a public Solarwinds forum as well, but it seems to have fizzled out.....

I agree with you Steve.

I call support when I have a pressing issue but I would also like some feedback from other users and having this forum moderated slows that process down.

I agree. What's more annoying is that even though it's moderated, it's moderated poorly. There doesn't seem to be a way for the SW moderators to make "sticky" topics. I can't tell you how sick I am of seeing this question:

"I have brand X and I need to monitor XXXXX. I have searched everywhere and can't find where I can insert my custom MIBs. Does Orion do this??? Need help fast!"

I think moderation has stopped.. or the moderator is on top of things
today. My last 2 posts were up. Very quickly.
