Problems with Custom MIB Pollers.
The task: To add MIB for equipment APC (American Power Conversion)
Step-by-step operations:
1) File => Custom MIB Pollers…
2) (Custom MIB Pollers) New… => (Custom MIB Pollers Wizard) (Select node or interface) Browse…
3) (Select node or interface)
American Power Conversion => <Name_UPS> OK
4) (Custom MIB Pollers Wizard) Select OID => Broswe…
OID => Searsh..
I enter a name of brand APC in the search string.
Further I select necessary to me interface (for example battery temperature)
5) (Custom MIB Pollers Wizard)
Select node or interface - <Name_UPS>
Select OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.2
Name: upsAdvBatterryTemperature (default)
Group: Default Group
Descr: APC
=>Next
6) (Settings)
MIB Value Type: Rate
Unit: 1
Timeframe: Hour
Keep real-time ststisitics only
At all operations of problems does not arise.
7) Press “Finish”
======è An error occurred saving the custom MIB poller <upsAdvBatterryTemperature> . Please save again.
At change of the Name the result does not vary. What operations are wrong? And how to rectify an error?
